ASSESSMENT CENTER and SPEECH-LANGUAGE CLINIC
|
The Assessment Center and Speech-Language Clinic at Oak Hill
Academy provides comprehensive evaluations of children and
adults who experience challenges related to learning, behavior,
attention, communication and speech. Each evaluation includes:
- Testing
- Post-assessment conference to discuss findings
- Recommendations for home and school
- Problem-solving techniques
- Comprehensive, written report
Additional therapy services and psychological
consultations are also available.
Suzanne Eades, Ph.D.
Director; Assessment Center
Dr. Eades is a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology,
Provisionally Licensed Psychologist, Certified Academic Language
Therapist, and former school counselor and classroom teacher. Dr.
Eades specializes in psycho-educational testing, counseling and
social skills training for pre-school children through adults.
Karen Crance, MS,CCC-SLP
Director; Speech-Language Clinic
Ms. Crance is a Certified and Licensed Speech-Language
Pathologist. She specializes in identifying communication disorders
and providing individual and small group therapy for children with
diagnosed speech and language disorders.
