Oak Hill Academy is a private, non-profit school that provides a comprehensive

success-oriented co-educational program of excellence. The school serves bright students

in grade levels early childhood through eighth grade who have been diagnosed

with or are at-risk for a specific learning difference.
Engaging children in an atmosphere of discovery, creativity and learning is the
hallmark of an Oak Hill Academy education.  A private, non-profit school for children
in preschool through middle school with learning differences, Oak Hill is centrally
located in North Dallas but attracts students from 22 cities throughout the Metroplex.

At Oak Hill Academy, specially trained teachers work
with small groups of students to set individualized
goals and use a multi-sensory approach to learning.  
Classrooms are structured but provide a warm,
nurturing environment with an average
student/teacher ratio of 10:1.  

In addition to academics, Oak Hill offers
speech-language therapy and occupational
therapy.  The campus is also home to the
Educational Assessment Center at Oak Hill
Academy, which provides testing and makes
recommendations for children who may have
learning differences as well as students identified
as gifted and talented.

Oak Hill Academy is accredited by the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
SACS CASI is the global leader in helping schools improve student learning
through accreditation. This accreditation demonstrates that Oak Hill provides
a quality education that supports successful learning experiences in children
with special needs.
