Oak Hill Academy would like to thank The Rees-Jones Foundation for their generous support of our scholarship program.

Founded in 2006 by Jan and Trevor Rees-Jones, The Rees-Jones Foundation is a private foundation that works with non-profit organizations, primarily in North Texas, to serve others and improve their quality of life and life circumstances in tangible ways.  The Foundation works to: defend the welfare of children suffering from abuse or neglect, afford relief to those facing mental health challenges, provide youth with opportunities for enrichment and character development, encourage healthy families and communities, and promote the humane treatment of companion animals.


Oak Hill Academy is proud to announce we have been selected to be an Elizabeth Toon Charities grant recipient for 2012.  Join our school in supporting this wonderful organization in on May 3rd and 4th, for their 6th Annual Concert and Shootout.

Elizabeth Toon Charities is a Christian based 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to serving children in need and their families throughout Texas.  The organization was inspire by the faith, hope and love of Elizabeth Toon.


 

Thanks to the Dallas Sam's Club, #8248, located at 9461 Webb Chapel Road in Dallas for the generous donation of $1,000 to support the purchase of a Smart Table for Oak Hill Academy.

 


Oak Hill Academy would like to thank Waldman Bros and World Wear Project, LLC for supporting our 2nd Annual Literacy Live event, with Caldecott winning illustrator, Paul O. Zelinsky.


 

 


Many thanks to the Communities Foundation of Texas and the University of Texas at Dallas, School of Management, for providing summer interns to bolster our social media outreach.  Oak Hill Academy now has an official Facebook page where students and parents can stay informed about events at the school, and alumni can stay in touch with friends.  Thank you CFT and UTD!


The T. Boone Pickens Science Center is an environmentally-friendly 3,300 sq. foot facility made from sustainable materials, featuring SMART boards, geothermal heating and cooling system, rainwater harvesting bins, skylights and solar tubes, tankless water heaters, drought-tolerant native landscaping and other amenities.
